"What kind of food helps you gain muscle quicker?"

To build muscle, you want foods that are high in protein but low in fat.  Most animal products are high in protein (such as meats, dairy, eggs..) but you want to make sure that you choose ones that don't have much fat or many calories.  This will help you build lean muscle, instead of muscle with a layer of fat over it.

  1. What animal products that are high in protein are low in fat, generally? Eggs? Why do I hear all the celebrities saying that they only eat egg whites?

  2. Eggs are high in protein and low in fat. The part of the egg that has all of its fat (the little amount that it contains) is the yolk. So by only eating the white, the meal is essentially fat free.
